"We don't just teach creative dance, we teach dance creatively"

Students ages 2‐7 are invited to wear and color or style leotard and tights to classes, but we ask that hair is neatly pulled back and appropriate shoes (ballet slippers and/or tap shoes) are worn.
Dance costumes or tutus are not allowed because they distract students and sometimes obstruct movement (however a soft ballet skirt is fine). While it is true a young student could dance in any outfit that allows freedom of movement, we ask our dancers to wear appropriate dance attire because the act of getting ready gets the mind (and attitude) ready for creative work, and this is the first step towards personal discipline, one of the greatest rewards of dance training.
