Adult Yoga

The Adult Program at ReFLEX encourages students to rediscover the joy and freedom that comes from being fit in mind and body. Rekindle your inner flame as you pursue an interest along with other young‐at‐heart individuals.

Whether you choose yoga, creative writing, dance, a specialty art class, or a health and wellness workshop, expanding your horizons through activities that support inner richness brings rewards that extend beyond the lesson, leading you to a more satisfying, fuller life.

After finding inner peace in a yoga or wellness class, we invite you to relax in our yoga lounge to have a complimentary cup of tea, read something inspirational, and/or enjoy the company of like‐minded individuals who, like you, strive to live a conscientious life, slow down and take care of themselves. We encourage you to relax and enjoy a bit of peace and quiet as you transition back to your busy life beyond the studio door.

Yoga classes at ReFLEX help individuals find their center and gain balance in their lives through empowering exercises introduced "on the mat" that student's are encouraged to carry away and apply to life.

We offer yoga classes that combine Vinyasa (flow from one position to the next) with held positions (asana) to develop physical strength, flexibility, balance and control while releasing stress, enhancing energy, and developing self awareness.

Pranayama (breathing techniques), poetry and meditations are sometimes incorporated into the lesson to make the yoga class a more enriching experience as well.

We also offer classes in a variety of other yoga techniques, as well as meditation and other related subjects that enhance emotional, spiritual and physical health and wellness. Getting in shape begins with the physical, and practicing asana (yoga poses) develops muscle tone, flexibility, core strength, and overall fitness, but the posture and alignment of specific yoga poses, combined with breathing and relaxation techniques enhances energy, relieves stress, and leaves the participant with a sense of emotional well‐being.


Yoga is life affirming, helping a person discover grace, joy, and positive inner energy. You may come to yoga seeking basic fitness, but in time you'll discover the practice makes you glow, inside and out.
